Witch doctor (step by step)

Hey people, sorry I'm not frequently posting anymore.
Yesterday I did some sketch and saved the progress. Just for fun, took less than 2 hours to finish.
I'm SOOOOOOO lazy.
It was some kind of tribal witch doctor.
I used tones and colored with hard light and color layers.

There it goes.
first, planning the tones without shadows or lights.

mapping some shadows and lights, to give volume

now the basic colors using color layers. (ajusting the opacity and mixing different color layers gives more results)

Some special fx LOL. But, hey! The colors are too grey.

Then use some adjustment layers!

One thing here and there

Then more adjustments, contrast, some dark mood and it's done!

Hope you like it.

Female warrior

Hi everybody
I took inspiration from indian and african tribes, specially hijra tattoos on her body.
But my real purpose was to study metal texturing on armors.

Hope you like it

Dragon step by step

Sorry, I coudn't come up with some original name.
I decided to save the progress, for a demonstration thread in a forum, but unfortunely I forgot to save some parts of the progress xD
Anyway, it took like 8 hours in Photoshop CS5, really fast for me.

                                                            And the complete illustration:

Hope you like it,
